Food & Gourmet Club
All of our food is fresh. We use local butchers, cheesemongers and Chesterfield market for our fruit and vegetables. Fresh fish features daily on our specials board coming from the west coast of Scotland, The North Sea and other British coastal waters. Come along and try our famous home-made pies, 21 day matured steaks, seasonal risottos, fresh fish and home-made chips. We are also renowned for our home-made Sunday lunches.

At The Market Pub we can cater for groups of all sizes. We can cater for groups of up to 30 sitting down or up to 100 for special deluxe buffets. In the past we have organised events for birthdays, retirements, christenings & renunions to name but a few. Every month we have a gourmet club event. The event runs over 3 days and we use this as an opportunity to showcase some of the finest seasonal ingredients that Britain has to offer, such as; Wild Venison, Whole John Dory, 28 day matured Aberdeen Angus Beef, Langoustines and Native Lobsters from Scotland plus many others.
At The Market we always try to accommodate customer’s requirements and will prepare dishes to individual
specifications given a little notice.
